In cooperation with FINTECH SK s.r.o. under the brand Bitcoinmat.org, Bitcoin purchases at the ATMs in Austria are now available again, fully regulated in accordance with the EU MiCAR framework.

Regulated crypto-asset ATMs across Austria

Kurant is a partner of FINTECH SK s.r.o. | Bitcoinmat.org, which has assumed responsibility for the regulated operation of the Bitcoin ATMs in Austria. In partnership, the existing ATM network in Austria will continue to operate under the Bitcoinmat.org brand — with EU-regulated operations, proven service standards, and at established locations.

At the crypto-asset ATMs, Bitcoin and other crypto-assets can be purchased quickly, conveniently, and in compliance with applicable regulations using cash.

The crypto-asset services are provided exclusively by FINTECH SK s.r.o., a crypto-asset service provider authorised by the National Bank of Slovakia (NBS) in accordance with the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR).

Crypto-asset service?

FINTECH SK s.r.o. provides crypto-asset services in Austria on a cross-border (passport) basis under its MiCAR authorization. All crypto-asset services, including the exchange of crypto-assets for funds pursuant to Article 3(1)(16)(c) MiCAR, are provided exclusively by FINTECH SK s.r.o. under its own responsibility.
